Volleyball tournament for the “KAZMUNAIGAZPROF” Cup
In Almaty, on May 26-27 of this year, the NGO “Kazakhstan Industrial Professional Union of the Oil and Gas Complex” (hereinafter referred to as KAZMUNAIGAZPROF) held a Republican volleyball tournament among veterans at the age of 40+, “KMGPROF CUP 2022”, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of JSC “National Company “KazMunaiGaz” and the “Year of Social Partnership” of the Trade Unions Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Veterans of physical culture and sports, volleyball fans of 9 leading oil, gas and oil and gas transportation companies gathered at the sports complex of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University to compete for the prestigious trade union trophy: joint-stock companies “QazaqGaz”, “Mangystaumunaigaz”, “Karazhanbasmunai”, “PetroKazakhstan Kumkol Resources”, limited liability partnerships “Tengizchevroil”, JV “KazGerMunai”, “Asia Gas Pipeline”, “Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant” and the branch “Research and Development Center of JSC “KazTransOil”.
The teams were divided into two subgroups. In its subgroup, “PKKR” JSC team won against the team of “KazTransOil” JSC, lost to the teams of “Asia Gas Pipeline” and “Mangystaumunaigaz”, thereby they failed to qualify for the playoffs.
According to the results of the games, the team of veterans of “Tengizchevroil” LLP (Atyrau) became the honored winner of the Republican tournament and the owner of the “KAZMUNAIGAZPROF CUP”. The volleyball team of gas workers of “Asia Gas Pipeline” LLP (Almaty) became a worthy owner of the 2nd place. The top three winners were closed by a perspective and friendly team of veterans of National Company “QazaqGaz” JSC (Nur-Sultan).
Our team took the sixth place and was awarded “For will to win” Cup.
The main goal of the organizers of the volleyball tournament “KMGPROF CUP 2022” was achieved – oil and gas workers, participants of the tournament as part of their representative teams demonstrated high corporate spirit, organization and enviable sportsmanship, tactical and technical diversity, dedication and the will to win.
We thank the management of the company and the trade union committee of “PKKR” JSC for rendering our colleagues an opportunity to participate in such a prestigious sporting event.
