OIL PRODUCTION
At the end of y2022, the production volume for the Shymkent Oil Refinery group of companies amounted to 2, 685 mln tons of GROSS oil, 1, 678 mln tons of PKI share. As of August 1, 2023, actual oil production by the PetroKazakhstan group of companies amounted 1, 486 mln tons, 0, 934 mln tons of PKI share, with an annual plan of 2.419 mln tons, 1.502 mln tons of PKI share.
According to Kolzhan LLP, the total well stock is 424 wells, of which 224 wells are in the production stock, 50 wells are in the injection stock, 42 wells are mothballed, 83 wells are in the observation stock, and 25 wells are abandoned. According to the PKVI, the exploration fund is 52 wells. The main method of well operation used at the company’s fields is the mechanized method using screw, rod, deep, pumping units, deep-rod sucker-rod pumping units and submersible electric centrifugal pumping units.
